Cass Gilbert, a prominent American architect whose buildings include the Woolworth Building and the Alexander Hamilton Customs House in New York, started his career in St. Paul. This tour will focus on Gilbert’s early work: homes located in the Ramsey Hill neighborhood, the largest historical district in the country, the Minnesota State Capitol, and several buildings downtown St. Paul.
